At Rehire, we believe your professional data belongs to you. We collect information necessary to build your "Talent Passport" and facilitate high-fidelity AI matching.
What we collect: Account credentials (name, email), professional history (resumes, portfolios), technical skill taxonomies, and system usage logs (IP address, browser type).
AI & Biometrics
Our platform relies on AI to vet talent. During the identity verification and AI interview phases, we process sensitive information:
- Video Processing: Interview recordings are processed to extract transcripts and evaluate communication skills.
- Vector Embeddings: We convert your text profile into mathematical vectors (embeddings) to compare against job requirements. These vectors cannot be reverse-engineered into readable text.
Employer Sharing
Your data is kept private by default. It is only shared with an Employer under the following conditions:
- You explicitly hit "Apply" on their job intent.
- The AI Matching Engine generates a "High Confidence" match and the employer chooses to unlock your profile.
Employers receive your synthesized Talent Passport, including your AI Interview scores, resume, and contact details.
Global Compliance
Rehire operates globally and complies with international data protection frameworks.
GDPR (Europe): We act as a Data Controller for Candidate profiles and a Data Processor for Employer-uploaded data. We rely on your explicit consent for biometric processing.
CCPA (California): We do not sell personal information. You have the right to request disclosure of data collection and deletion of your data.
